We Stand By Our Sheds: Understanding Your Warranty Coverage

At Summit Structures, we take pride in building high-quality, durable sheds, and we back our craftsmanship with a limited warranty to give you peace of mind. Our Elevation Series comes with a 12-year warranty, the Homestead Series has a 5-year warranty, and Post Frame Structures are covered for 1 year. This warranty protects against defects in materials and workmanship and can be transferred to a new owner with written notice. If a defect is found, we may repair or replace the affected part at our discretion.

To keep your warranty valid, proper maintenance is required. This includes painting, making leveling adjustments, and keeping vegetation at least 12 inches away from the shed exterior. Buildings over 12’ x 24’ must be set up on a gravel or concrete pad, while smaller sheds 10’ x 12’ and under can use wood shims or blocking for leveling.

If you discover a defect, contact us within 30 days with proof of purchase, a description, and photos. Our warranty does not cover damage from misuse, accidents, alterations, vandalism, or acts of God (such as tornadoes, hail, floods, or wildfires). Paint, water sealers, and pre-hung doors are also excluded due to natural wear over time.
