Warranty
We stand by our sheds!
We want to make sure you have peace of mind that you are buying a top-quality shed. That’s why our sheds are built by our expert craftsman. In the unlikely event of a defect, we are close by and will repair or replace any defect.
Our products are warranted for twelve years from the date of installation against defects in material and workmanship. Summit Structures LLC, at its discretion, may either repair or replace any defect.
SUMMIT STRUCTURES LLC MAKES THE FOLLOWING LIMITED WARRANTIRES ON ALL OUR NEW BUILDINGS. OUR LIMITED WARRANTIES EXTEND TO THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER AND MAY BE TRANSFERED TO SUBSQEQUENT PURCHASERS WITHIN THE LIFETIME OF THE WARRANT WITH WRITTEN NOTICE OF OWNERSHIP TRANSFER
LIMITED TWELVE (12) YEAR WARRANTY
Summit Structures LLC warrants this product against defects in materials or
workmanship for a period of TWELVE (12) years after the date of installation.
Summit Structures LLC as warrant that the shed substantially conforms to the
quality and workmanship of the display shed of the same model which may
have been shown to you by the authorized Summit Structures LC dealer from
whom you bought the shed. This limited warranty extends only to defect in
materials or workmanship and does not extend to any product or part which
has been discarded by you or to damage to your shed caused by misuse,
accident, improper maintenance, improper use, vandalism, or to units which
have been altered or modified without the authorization of Summit Structures
LLC. Neither does this limited warranty extend to acts of God, including but
not limited to tornadoes, hail and floods.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITY
The above warranties are subject to the following conditions:
- You must retain your bill of sales or provide other proof of purchase.
- You must notify Summit Structures LLC at the address shown in the StepBy-Step Procedures below within thirty (30) days of discovering a defect in your sheds.
- All warranty servicing of the product must be made by Summit Structures LLC or it agents.
- Adequate routine maintenance should be performed on the shed including
painting, leveling adjustments, and keeping vegetation from growing around the edges of the shed. - Any building over 12 x 12 ft. must b set up properly with ad and/or concrete. Cinder blocks may be shed for any building 10 x 12 ft. and under.
- Do not set anything against the exterior of your building. Keep all mulch
and shrubs at a minimum of 12 inches away from building exteriors.
Your failure to meet your responsibilities as outlines above or failure to follow
any warranty procedures as set forth below will void this limited warranty.
STEP-BY-STEP PROCEDURES TO OBTAIN WARANTY SREVICE
To obtain warranty servicing you should contact Summit Structures
LLC within thirty (30) days of finding a defect in your shed.
You must provide:
1) A copy of the bill of sale or other proof of purchase
2) A written description and picture of the defect
ALL WARRANTIES IMPLIED BY THE STATE LAW, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE EXPRESSLY LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THE LIMITED WARRANTIES SET FORTH ABOVE. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU, WTH THE EXCEPTION OF ANY WARRANTIES IMPLIED BY STATE LAW AS HEREBY LIMITED. THE FOREGOING EXPRESS WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, GUARANTEES, AGREEMENTS, AND SIMILAR OBLIGATIONS OF THE MANUFACTURER OR DEALER WITH RESPECT TO THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF ANY PRODUCT OR PARTS.
IN NO EVENT SHALL SUMMIT STRUCTURS LLC BE LIABLE FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES
NO PERSON OR COMPANY IS AUTHORIZED TO CHANGE OR EXTEND THE TERMS OF THIS WARRANTY.
This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear of wood products from normal use, including cosmetic changes in the appearance. This warranty does not cover water sealer, because of extreme rain and moisture in the Pacific Northwest, sheds may require additional waterproofing or paint. While our paint and sealers work well, it cannot be guaranteed in locations with extreme moisture. As such, the warranty, excludes this.
